If you are coming from either San Sebastian on the A8 Motorway or from Vitoria on the A68, you must cross Bilbao towards Getxo. If you are coming from Santander, you must follow the Getxo signs until you reach Barakaldo without going towards Bilbao. After going through the locality of Lejona, take the turning to Plencia. It will take about 15 minutes to reach Plencia after going through Algorta, Sopelana and Barrika. When you reach Plencia, cross the town towards the port (beach). After crossing the Town hall square, you will come to a roundabout. Here you should go straight ahead. Do not take the first exit on the right going to the town centre, but the second exit. Some 500 meters along, you will come to the port which you will be able to see from your vehicle. You will reach a road separated from the port by a small walk, go along that same road on the right and you will find the Kaian Hotel-restaurant
